AUTUMN WARMERS, SARDINIAN STYLE WITH MARIO OLIANAS – 21st September
Filippo Berio is delighted to announce that Chef, host and now, award-winning cheese maker, Mario Olianas will be returning once again to our Autumn Supper Club event alongside Head Chef, Stefano Borella.
Before moving to Yorkshire in 2001, Mario grew up in Sardinia which fired his passion for traditional Italian cuisine. He has now turned this love into a successful business, sourcing fresh, local produce wherever possible. Alongside his ‘Taste of Italy’ dining club and stalls across Leads, Harrogate and Knaresborough markets, Mario is now renowned for his award-winning cheese. His famous Yorkshire Pecorino was awarded the ‘Supergold’ Award at the Guild of Fine Food World Cheese Awards 2017 – an accolade only bestowed on the top 66 cheeses in the world!
