Tropical Olive Oil Smoothie

Supercharge your morning smoothie by adding a tablespoon of Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It’s a great way to amp up the nutritional profile with healthy monounsaturated fats as well as the flavour.

Ingredients:

  • 175g pineapple
  • 175g frozen chopped banana
  • 360g vanilla yoghurt
  • 250ml milk
  • 2 tbsp Filippo Berio Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 4 tsp toasted sweetened shredded coconut

Method:

  1. In blender, combine pineapple, banana, yogurt, milk and oil; purée until smooth. Divide evenly among 4 glasses; sprinkle with coconut.

Cooks tips:

Substitute frozen pineapple for mango if desired.
