Superfood Cacao, Coconut, Blueberry & Banana Smoothie

Recipe by Gaz Oakley. To celebrate European Heart Failure Awareness Day, I was challenged to add 20ml of Filippo Berio olive oil to my morning smoothie recipe. This recipe mixes all my favourite ingredients and tastes amazing!

Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 50g fresh blueberries
  • 3 tbsp raw cacao paste
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp shelled hemp seeds
  • 2 tbsp goji berries
  • 1 tbsp agave nectar
  • 500ml coconut milk
  • 20ml Filippo Berio Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Optional Toppings:

  • Cacao nibs
  • Grated raw chocolate
  • Whipped coconut cream

Method:

  1. Combine all the smoothie ingredients in your ninja cup & blitz on high powder for around 35 seconds or until smooth.
  1. Top with the coconut cream, raw chocolate shavings & cacao nibs.
