Strawberry Caprese Salad with Gran Cru Balsamic Vinegar

A simple stunner of a recipe. Combining sweet strawberries, milky mozzarella and tart Filippo Berio Gran Cru Balsamic Vinegar creates a welcome melange of flavour, celebrating some of Italy's finest ingredients in a simple yet delicious way.

Ingredients

  • 400g fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 2 large balls of Mozzarella Cheese
  • Filippo Berio Gran Cru Balsamic Vinegar
  • Fresh basil leaves to serve
  • Pepper to taste

Method

  1. Slice mozzarella and strawberries and arrange on four serving plates.
  2. Scatter over the basil leaves.
  3. Drizzle the Filippo Berio Gran Cru Balsamic Vinegar over the salad and serve immediately with ground black pepper.
