Caramelised Onion Focaccia
This is one of the three topping options for our 'Focaccia Three Ways' recipe.
Serves: Dough plus 1 serves 4
Preparation time: 5 minutes
- 4 tbsp Filippo Berio Classico Olive Oil
- 3 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tsp thyme leaves
- Heat the Filippo Berio Classico Olive Oil in a large frying pan and cook the onions for 5-10 minutes until soft and translucent.
- Stir through the thyme leaves and allow to cool before using to top the dough.
