Carmela is a published author of two fantastic Italian cookery books, ‘Southern Italian Family Cooking’ and ‘A Passion for Pasta’, released the 2nd May this year. Carmela is a pastaia (specialist pasta maker), demonstrator, author and food writer. Cooking simple, inexpensive, seasonal dishes whilst using good quality seasonal ingredients as her mantra.
Filippo Berio and Carmela are delighted to invite you to a ‘Pasta masterclass’ at La Cucina Caldesi, this June.
We will be welcoming guests at 6pm, to a Prosecco and Foccacia arrival. Then Carmela will begin to demonstrate the art of making fresh, traditional Italian pasta dishes. A starter and dessert will be prepared by Carmela, while guests will then prepare three delicious pasta dishes.
Guests will then enjoy the fruits of their labour, accompanied by wine pairings by our 150th anniversary wine sponsor, Zonin.
Of course, all of this will include a Filippo Berio goodie bag worth £30 to take away with you at the end of the night!
