The largest island in the Mediterranean, Sicily, has been shaped by waves of conquest and settlement by different peoples over 4,000 years. This exhibition tells Sicilys fascinating stories from the arrival of the Greeks and their encounters with the Phoenicians and other settlers, to the extraordinary period of enlightenment under Norman rule in the 11th to 13th centuries.
We are offering you the opportunity to discover the history of a remarkable island by giving away two tickets to the new special exhibition Sicily: culture and conquest at the British Museum, plus a special three course Sicilian meal for two and a cocktail.
After exploring the exhibition our winner and their guest will enjoy a special Sicilian inspired cocktail and three course meal for two under the Museums magnificent glass roof in the Great Court Restaurant.
Sicily: culture and conquest is at the British Museum from 21 April 14 August.
